Technical Support Specialist II

Farragut is seeking a technical support specialist that will be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a unique combination of technical problem-solving and interpersonal skills. The Technical Support Specialist Level 2 is responsible for maintaining close relationships with key client contacts and plays a key role in recommending resolutions to assist customers in achieving their goals. Support Specialists work closely with our implementation, data, and development teams to remediate client issues in a timely and professional manner.

**Please note: This position is 2nd shift, 11am-8pm, in Durham, NC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform root cause analysis and technical resolution for data and/or application issues
  • Ensure every support ticket or customer inquiry is resolved from the customer's point of view
  • Self-management and prioritization of work queue, while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational metrics
  • Participation in all team activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Microsoft SQL experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience proactively working with customers to resolve support issues
  • An enthusiasm for learning our customers' business processes and our software functionality
  • Associate's or Bachelor's with a technical focus and a GPA of 3.0 or above, or equivalent work experience

Technically qualified applicants should also have the following personal and team skills:

  • Ability to build and to maintain relationships with others at all levels of the organization and with customer staff
  • Excellent teamwork skills, recognizing that the success of the team is more important than the success of the individual
  • Willingness to mentor/train other team members, as required

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary for this position is determined based on candidate's previous work experience, current technical abilities and market salary information.
